Plastic conduit rods are the economical choice for straight installation runs: dimensionally stable, easy to work with and permanently corrosion-free. CILSON manufactures the 2 m rods from low-halogen PVC-U to DIN EN 61386-21 – medium compression strength (750 N) and non-flame-propagating.

Available in M16, M20, M25 and M32, in light grey, white and black. The smooth inner wall makes drawing in cables easy; connections are tool-free via push-fit couplers. Made in Germany from our own extrusion plant – ideal for electrical contractors and wholesale.

Why plastic instead of steel?
PVC-U is lighter, corrosion-free, electrically insulating and cheaper – with medium compression strength of 750 N, sufficient for most applications.

Can the rods be shortened?
Yes, with a fine-toothed saw or a pipe cutter – deburr afterwards.

Which lengths are available?
All conduit rods are delivered uncut at 2,000 mm (2 m).
