Installing cable trunking – step-by-step guide

Routing cables neatly – here is how to do it right

Cable trunking ensures order, safety and a professional appearance. Whether in the office, in the workshop or at home – with the right cable trunking from CILSON, installation is quick and easy.

Step 1: Prepare the surface. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly – it must be free of grease and dust, and dry.

Step 2: Mark out the trunking. Mark the desired position with a pencil or chalk marker.

Step 3: Attach the cable trunking. For self-adhesive versions: peel off the protective film and press into place. For screw mounting: place a screw every 30 cm.

Step 4: Insert the cables. Fill the trunking to a maximum of 60% of its capacity. Press on the lid.
