The CILSON cable trunking 100×40 mm in Black (RAL 9005) is a wide, flat cable trunking made of UV-resistant PVC, 2 m long, with a pre-punched perforated base for screw mounting and a removable lid – produced in Gladbeck, Germany (Made in Germany) and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It combines 100 mm width with only 40 mm height: several cables lie side by side instead of on top of each other, and the trunking hardly protrudes from wall or ceiling. It is the typical choice wherever many parallel cables need a flat run – in offices and shopfitting, behind media walls and TVs, on ceilings and in shallow window reveals for air-conditioning installations. Jet black (RAL 9005) is the choice for media walls, TV areas, dark furniture and anthracite or dark façades.

Installation

Mark the cable route, screw the base section to the wall or ceiling through the pre-punched holes – no drilling of the trunking required. Then lay in the cables and clip on the lid section by section. The lid can be removed again at any time, so retrofits and changes are possible without dismantling. For the large profiles a fixing spacing of about 40 cm is recommended; cuts to length are easily made with a fine-toothed saw. As an alternative to screws, adhesive mounting with a suitable construction adhesive is possible.

Which installations is the 100×40 mm cable trunking intended for?
